Thank you so much for posting your query on this forum. I’ll try my best to assist you with this issue.
I understand that you have some issues with the sound on the computer. It seems to be fixed when you run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter; however the issue reoccurs again after sometime and is looking for a permanent fix on this.
I would like to know –
1) Did you check the troubleshooting report after running the Hardware Troubleshooter? If yes, what exactly does it shows in the report?
2) Did you try installing the latest audio card drivers from the computer manufacturer’s website?
3) With which speaker, do you face this issue? Is it with the external or inbuilt speaker?
4) If this has started recently, then what are the recent changes that you have made to the computer prior to this issue?

I would also suggest you to run the “Playing Audio” Troubleshooter and check if that helps. Please follow these steps:

Method 1: Run the Playing Audio Troubleshooter
The Playing Audio Troubleshooter is an automated tool which checks the audio devices connected to the computer for any known issues and provides the details on how to fix them. Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter.

a) Press “Windows Logo” + “W” keys from the keyboard.
b) Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.
c) In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.
d) Click on “Playing Audio”.

e) Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Run as Administrator”.
